Suzanne Jayne's Story
Suzanne J. (Kenyon) Clark of Ipswich, Mass., went home to be with her Lord and Savior on September 16, 2017, after a long courageous fight with breast cancer. She was born on November 3, 1950, in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Miriam Kenyon and Robert Kenyon, Marietta Ga. Sue graduated from Gordon College, Wenham, MA and was a longtime member of the First Congregational Church of Hamilton. Sue is survived by her husband of 44 years, John Clark of Ipswich, Mass.; sister, Judy Cushman of Marietta, Ga.; son, Jason Clark and longtime girlfriend, Kate Cassista of Beverly, Mass.; son and daughter-in-law, Justin and Barbara Clark of Danvers, Mass.; grandchildren, Brayden Clark, Isabella Clark, Caleb Clark, Caitlin Clark, and Mason Sabogal; nieces and nephew, Jonathan Daly, Heather Ashby, and Crystal Clark.
Sue was a devout Christian, a devoted wife, daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and friend to many. Sue enjoyed gardening and had a knack of making everything special. She was an amazing presence to be around, with an uncanny sense of humor.
A celebration of life service will be held at the First Congregational Church at 624 Bay Rd., Hamilton on Friday September 22, 2017, at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held in the First Congregational Chapel, 624 Bay Rd., Hamilton, MA on Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, gifts may be made to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Memory of Suzanne Clark to support cancer research and patient care at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, P.O.
