My condolences to friends and family.
I leave this poem to help those saddened by this loss to help them in their grief:

Remembering: By James Cavanaugh

Tears flow and join with the rain
The pain of separation never departs
Days of sorrow turn to years of memories
Happiness is glimpsed through the pouring rain
Memories of life's past joys trickle through
Clouds part and the blue skies return for awhile
Remembering that no one has really departed
But has passed over into God's realm
And the future holds only a grand reunion
With those you share your love.

As a kid growing up my Uncle Stephen always had the best fish tank and weird assortment of lizards and newts! I remember one Thanksgiving my friend Matt came with me to Memeres and Uncle Stephen thinking Matt was his sister Michelle and being the sneaky goofy brother he was he ended up sneaking up behind Matt and giving him a big wet kiss on the cheek afterwards his face turned red as he called out โ€œUmmm, that wasnโ€™t my sisterโ€!?!?๐Ÿ˜‚
Stephen instilled a love and curiosity of nature in me (and my cousins too I am sure) at a young age! He loved to tease us and make us laugh with voice impersonations and he loved art.
He and I drew together here and there when he would come visit my da
...d, his brother Robbie and when he lived with him and my mother Lois, we played basketball and talked about crazy things going on. I told him once about how I did something really stupid and he said are you kidding I got myself struck by lightning! I felt better about my stupid teenage drama after that! ๐Ÿ˜‰
Stephen, like all of us, had his flaws but he always tried to look on the bright side and make us laugh or at the very least make his sister Viv roll her eyes! ๐Ÿ˜‰
You will be missed Uncle Stephen
