Sister's Story

NICOLET, QUEBEC, CANADA - The Sisters of the Assumption mourn the loss of Sr. Louise Audet, 88, formerly known as Sr. Louise-de-la-Trinité, who passed away at Pavillon Sainte-Marie in Nicolet, Quebec, Canada on Tuesday, February 20, 2018. She was a native of Salem, Massachusetts, the daughter of the late Alice (Camire) Audet and Leopold Audet.
Sr. Louise entered the Congregation of the Sisters of the Assumption in January of 1948. Following her profession in 1950, she served in the ministry of education in parochial schools, as a teacher in Glens Falls, NY, Meriden, CT, Southbridge, Lowell, Brockton, Millbury and Petersham, Mass. She also served as a Religious Education Coordinator in Laconia, N.H. For the past seven years she resided in Nicolet Canada.
Sr. Louise is survived by her brother, Edward Audet of Wayne, Michigan, as well as the Sisters of the Assumption worldwide.
