Rubie Wolovick of Danvers, Mass., formerly of Peabody, and Vero Beach, Fla., died at his home on October 20, 2017. He is survived by his beloved wife, Myra Davidson Wolovick, with whom he shared 65 years of marriage.
He is also survived by his three children, Jane Wolovick Curtis of Amesbury, Gary Wolovick of Marietta, Ga., Anita Wolovick of Gloucester, and their families.
Rubie was a decorated World War II veteran who proudly served in the Seabees. He was a hardworking, caring, loving husband and father. He took great pride in the accomplishments and activities of his wife, children, and grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at Maple Hill Cemetery in Peabody, at 11 a.m. on Friday, October 27, 2017. Donations may be made to the Veteran's benefit charity of your choice.
