BEVERLY- Mr. Robert R. Terry, 74, of Beverly, beloved husband of Nancy J. (Allen) Terry passed away December 19, 2017 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers.
Born in Beverly, he was the son of the late Edward C. and June (Smithson) Terry. Raised and educated in Beverly, he was a graduate of Beverly High School.
Mr. Terry had been employed as a Machinist with Post Machinery for many years. He was the proprietor of Bob Terry's Painting where he dedicated himself to his company and their many projects throughout the North Shore.
A loving and dedicated husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, Robert was extremely proud of his family and supported their many accomplishments. He was an avid sports fan, especially football and could be found supporting his favorite team the New England Patriots. His enthusiasm and kind heart will be forever remembered and deeply missed.
In addition to his loving wife, Nancy of Beverly with whom he shared 53 years of marriage, Robert is survived by his daughter, Robin Dion and her husband, Robert of Danvers; his sons, David Terry and his wife, Sandy of Groveland and Patrick Terry and his wife Carol of Beverly, his five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and his brother; Glenn Terry and his wife Cynthia of Beverly and extended family and friends. He was the brother of the late J. Clarke Terry.
