Robert J. Frazier 85, beloved husband of Margaret D. (Trepanier) Frazier, died Monday, December 4, 2017, at the Lahey Medical Center in Burlington.
Born and raised in San Antonio, Texas, he was the son of the late Clarence A. and Lillian E. (Huegele) Frazier. He received his education in San Antonio, Texas, and earned a Bachelor's Degree in mechanical engineering from Northeastern University in Boston.
An honorably discharged veteran, he served his country during the Korean Conflict as a member of the United States Navy.
Mr. Frazier had been employed for many years as a manufacturing manager and engineer at Macom in Burlington, which later became Tyco.
A resident of North Reading for the past 50 years, Mr. Frazier was a member of the Civil Air Patrol in Massachusetts and was also a private pilot. He was a member, past President and project coordinator of the Wells Moody Camp Ground Association in Wells, Maine.
Robert was a former Mason A.F. & A.M. and a member of the Shriner's Aleppo Temple in Wilmington. He enjoyed deep sea diving, ten-pin bowling, golfing and traveling with his wife. He was a loving husband, brother, uncle and friend who will be missed by all who knew him.
In addition to his wife with whom he shared 50 years of marriage, he is survived by two brothers, Thomas Frazier and Henry Frazier, both of San Antonio, Texas; two aunts, Erna Rose Kirk and Inez Kopplin, both of Texas; and several nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late Ralph Frazier.
His funeral service will be held graveside at the Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Lake Street, West Peabody, Thursday, December 7, 2017, at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
