Sorry to hear of Bob's passing. He was a great player at UMASS and helped to make our teams #1 for several years. He was always dependable on and off the field. A wonderful teammate, fun loving and hard working. My prayers are with his family in this difficult time. God Bless.

Bob was an outstanding football player for the great UMass teams of the 1960's. Rocky to many, but to us, his fellow players, he was Injun (we were the Redmen at that time). As fine an athlete and teammate as he was, he was a better human being. I rarely saw him not smiling or laughing. R. I. P. Bob.......

So sorry to hear of Bobs passing. I had the privilege of being on the same team with him at UMASS and also being a fraternity brother with him at KZ
He was not only a really good football player, but he was also a really really good and kind human being.

Bob and I were football team mates and fraternity brothers at U-Ma., Amherst. On a team with future NFL/AFL #1 draft picks, Milt Morin and Greg Landry, and teammates who went on to play for the Green Bay Packers and Boston Patriots, Bob stood out. His athletic prowess was matched by his gentlemanly conduct, on and off the field.
