Beverly - Priscilla (Hamilton) Collupy 90, beloved wife of Richard L. Collupy, died Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at the Beverly Hospital.
Born in Newburyport, she was the daughter of the late Milton E and Dorothy (Toppan) Hamilton. She graduated from Beverly High School, class of 1946 and attended Fisher Junior College.
As a young woman, Mrs. Collupy had worked as a medical secretary and had also worked along side her mother at Merri Lane Pre School in Beverly Farms.
A longtime resident of Beverly, Mrs. Collupy enjoyed twenty years of horseback riding with her husband. She also enjoyed reading and gardening. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend who will be missed by all who knew her.
In addition to her husband, with whom she shared sixty two years of marriage, she is survived by two daughters, Jennifer Alfred and her husband, Police Chief, James Alfred of Attleboro and Dr. Heather Collupy and her husband, Dr. Igor Plotkin of Sharon, a son, Richard H. Collupy and his wife, Elaine of Effingham, NH, six grandchildren, Samantha, Dustin, Jake, Dylan, Nicholas and Daniel, a great-grandson, Alexander, a brother, Milton Hamilton of Florida and many cousins. She was also the sister of the late Kenneth Hamilton.
Her funeral service will be held at Christ Church of Hamilton & Wenham, 149 Asbury Street, Hamilton, Saturday, July 13, 2019 at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Burial in the Iron Rail Cemetery, Wenham. Arrangements by the Campbell Funeral Home, 525 Cabot Street, Beverly. Contributions may be made in her memory to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society of Greater New England, 101A 1st Ave, Waltham, MA 02451.
