MARBLEHEAD - A Marbleheader all her life, Phyllis R. Tobin, 88 passed away at her home on September 11, 2019, surrounded in love by her family. She was married to the late Richard H. Tobin and was the daughter of Leonard G. and Ina B. Hutchinson, she was a graduate of Marblehead High, Class of 1949 and the New England Baptist Hospital School of Nursing.

She also bought herself a piano and music lesson, a bicycle, and rollerblades. She joined the Essex County Needlework Guild and was an active member for 26 years. An accomplished needlewoman, Phyllis' knitting, crocheting, crewel and embroidery, and sewing skills were extraordinary and admired by her fellow guild members.

Dear Tobin Family,
So sorry for the loss of Phyllis. She is my mother's cousin, Barbara Hunt Marshall, daughter of Martha Brown Hunt, Aunt Ina's sister. I remember Phyllis was always there for the Hunt family funeral services - Doris, Jane, Dick - including my mother's. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
