Phillip S.'s Story

Phillip S. Mumley, 47, died Tuesday, February 21, 2017, at the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center from injuries sustained from a snowmobiling accident.
Born in Danvers on January 5, 1970, he was the son of Carol (Vasey) Thompson and her husband, Robert of Harmony, Maine, and John Mumley and his wife, Dianne of Whitefield, N.H. He was raised in Middleton and was a graduate of the Beverly Trade School, Class of 1988. Phil owned and operated AutoPro Collision Center in Rowley for more than 10 years. In his free time he enjoyed motorcycles, snowmobiles, and jet skis. He was a loving father who especially enjoyed annual summer trips with his children.
In addition to his parents, he leaves his wife, Paula (MacLaughlan) Mumley of Middleton; his children, Jack and Jillian Mumley; two brothers, his twin, Jason Mumley and his family of Wellington, Maine, and Berton Lombard and his family of Newton, N.H.; and a dear friend, Maryellen Alves-Hertigan.
Visiting hours are Sunday, February 26, 2017, from 2 to 5 p.m. in C.R. Lyons & Sons Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers Square. Relatives and friends are invited. All other services are private.
