Philippe F.'s Story
BEVERLY, MA - Mr. Philippe F. Hebert, 88, of Beverly, passed away Wednesday, February 7, 2018, at Beverly Hospital.
Born in Lowell, he was the son of the late Phillippe and Exilia (Girard) Hebert. He was raised and educated in Salem and received his early education at the former St. Joseph's Grammar School and was a graduate of the former St. Joseph's Academy.
An honorably discharged veteran, he served his country as a member of the United States Navy during the Korean War.
Mr. Hebert had been employed as a Salesman in the automotive parts industry for several years prior to his retirement.
A long-time resident of the Town of Danvers, Phil volunteered his time as a coach of Danvers Little League. More recently, he had resided in Bow, N.H., and Sunrise, Fla., prior to moving to Beverly. He was devoted to his family, was a loving father and grandfather, who will be deeply missed.
Philippe is survived by his sons, Philip R. Hebert of Beverly, and Raymond Hebert of Danvers; his grandchildren, Philip, Michael, Jason, Haley, Hannah and Noah Hebert; his seven great-grandchildren; his sister, Rita Breen of Somerset; and several nieces, nephews and extended family. He was the father of the late Frank Hebert and brother of the late Robert Hebert and Cecil Hebert.
ARRANGEMENTS: His funeral services are private. Assisting the family with the arrangements is the Peterson-O'Donnell Funeral Home, 167 Maple St. (Route 62), Danvers.
