Peter V.R. Bazeley, 75, passed away peacefully July 3, 2017, after a courageous battle with Progressive Supranuclear Palsy.
Born in Swanage, England, he was preceded in death by his father, Ronald Bazeley.
He is survived by his mother, Irene Bazeley, and brother, Christopher Bazeley and Chris’s wife Rhea, who reside in England; nephew, Paul Bazeley of Oregon and his two children; and niece, Emily Bazeley of Ireland and her four children. He spent over 30 years enjoying his work building computer chip wafer loading devices for Varian Ion Industries of Gloucester. He was always active in team building within the company, enjoying the social aspects of golfing and company functions and was active in the local model airplane chapters. He was also active in the Citroen Car Club for many years while living in Massachusetts. Peter retired to the peaceful beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains of southwest Virginia, where he continued his hobbies of reading, bicycling, and car restoration.
