Normand S.'s Story

Normand S. Poirier, 64, died unexpectedly on Friday, March 24, 2017, at the Lahey Medical Center Hospital in Peabody following a long illness.

Born in Nashua, he was the son of Lena (Rioux) (Poirier) Tusinsky of Peabody and the late Donald D. Poirier, Sr.
He worked in construction as a roofer and was recently a certified nurses assistant (CNA) at the Hogan Regional Center in Hawthorne/Danvers, until having health issues.
He enjoyed being outdoors, riding a motorcycle, snowmobile, or hunting.
He is survived by his mother and step-father, Lena J. Tusinski and Stanley E. Tusinski of Peabody; his fiancé, Marva Kellman of Danvers; a brother, Donald D. Poirier, Jr. and sister, Donna Davis, both of Nashua; and four nephews; and extended family and friends.

Relatives and friends may gather on Thursday, March 30, 2017, at 11:30 a.m. in the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody for a Graveside Committal Service at 12:30 p.m., with burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody.
