Mary Jean (MacKenzie)'s Story
Mrs. Mary Jean (MacKenzie) Jaworski, 86, of Danvers, beloved wife of the late Edmund Jaworski, died Saturday, July 29, 2017, at Masconomet Healthcare Center, Topsfield.
Born in Danvers, she was the daughter of the late Norman and Mary (Pzuluka) MacKenzie. She was raised and educated in Peabody and was a graduate of Peabody High School. Jean continued her education at North Shore Community College where she received her associate degree.
A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, family was her greatest joy. Jean was proud to provide a warm and loving home for her family; watching her children grow and become successful and happy in life was her only wish. After her children were grown, she began a career in elder services, where her caring spirit endeared her to many. She was fast to lend a hand and a word of encouragement for those who needed it. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
Mary Jean is survived by her daughters, Sandra Pare and her husband, Andrew of Plainville and Patricia Cote of Westerly, R.I.; her sons, David Jaworski and his companion, Lisa Curran of Middleton and Christopher Jaworski of Danvers; a grandson, Jason Pare of Miami, Fla.; and a niece and nephew. She was also the mother of the late Stuart Jaworski and sister of the late George MacKenzie.
Relatives and friends are invited to her funeral service which will be held graveside in Walnut Grove Cemetery, Sylvan Street, Danvers, Saturday, August 5, at 11 a.m. Assisting the family with the arrangements is the Peterson-O’Donnell Funeral Home, 167 Maple St., (Route 62), Danvers.
