Martha's Story

Martha A. (Thomson) Zujewski, 71, of Beverly, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday morning, January 11, at her late residence. She was the beloved wife of the late James E. Zujewski. Born in Andover, she was the daughter of the late James and Evelyn (Spinney) Thomson. Martha was raised and educated in Andover and was a graduate of Andover High School.
Surviving her are two daughters, Janet Kopecky and her husband David of Lebanon, NH, and Jaime L. Zujewski-Boris and Carmon E. Herrick III of Beverly; five grandchildren, Ryan and Kyle Kopecky, Jayden and Nikolas Boris and Emerson Herrick; two sisters, Barbara Carlo and her husband Fred of Beverly and Gail Thomson and her husband Pete Levesque of Methuen; two brothers, James Thomson of Methuen and Scott Thomson and his wife Ginny of Dracut; and several nieces and nephews.
A prayer service will be held at the Campbell Funeral Home, 525 Cabot St., Beverly on Tuesday, January 16, at 7 p.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Interment will be held privately. Visiting hours prior to the service on Tuesday, from 4 to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in Martha's name may be made to the Northeast Animal Shelter, 347 Highland Ave., Salem, MA 01970.
