Beverly, MA - Marjorie A. Williams, 82, of Seymour, Tenn., passed away peacefully on Sat., Feb. 16, 2019, at the University of Tennessee Medical Center surrounded by her family. She was born on Nov. 27, 1936, in Beverly, Mass., and lived in Beverly for 70 years. She was a graduate of Beverly High School, class of 1954 and that is where she met the love of her life, Robert Williams. They were married on May 28, 1955, and built their home on Woodland Avenue in the Ryal Side section of Beverly where they raised their six children.

Marjorie was a very talented seamstress and would make skating outfits for her daughter Ellen. She also made the Beverly High Panther mascot outfit for her daughter Karen. In April 1994 she began working at New England BioLabs and retired in October of 1999. When she moved to Tenn. in 2006 she became a member of Holy Family Catholic Church, the "Crafty Ladies" and the Silver Sneakers Group at Club Fit. Marjorie was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan and extended her love of sports to include the Tennessee Volunteers. Most of all, she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She cherished large Thanksgiving meals after the Beverly-Salem football games which she played on the radio and loved entertaining family on Christmas Eve. She was a very caring, loving, generous person who will be dearly missed.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Robert C. Williams on July 28, 2009; son, Robert C. Williams Jr.; brother, Richard Bourque; and her parents, Theodore and Evangeline Bourque. Marjorie is survived by three daughters, Susan and John Casey of Maryville, Tenn., Ellen and Harold McCarter of Seymour, Tenn., Karen and Jay McLucas of Knoxville, Tenn.; two sons, Michael and Alice Williams of Beverly, Mass., Brian and Clare Williams of Beverly, Mass.; grandchildren, Rob and Brittany Williams, Jill Batten, Mike and Ryan Casey, Lauren and Kate Williams, Chris, Kayla and Chase McCarter, and Brian Williams Jr.; great-grandchildren, River and Ryder Batten, Sara, Leah, Mason, Chloe, and Malachi Casey; and her much loved sister, Nancy Bourque of Beverly, Mass.

A celebration of Marjorie's long and wonderful life will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2019, at Beverly Golf & Tennis at 5:30 p.m.
