Marjorie's Story

BEVERLY - Mrs. Marjorie (Larrabee) McMahon, 80, of Beverly, beloved wife of the late Robert McMahon, passed away peacefully January 13, 2018, at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers.
Born in Beverly she was the daughter of the late Dexter and Ruth (Harrison) Larrabee. She was raised and educated in Beverly and was a graduate of Beverly High School.
As a young woman, Marjorie, had been employed by Sylvania as a Secretary for several years before returning to school to earn her nursing degree from Essex Agricultural and Technical School. Following graduation, she embarked on a career in nursing, working at Blueberry Hill Healthcare and Hancock House for many years prior to her retirement.
A lifelong resident of the City of Beverly, Marjorie enjoyed Bingo, Dancing and loved to visit Lake Winnipesaukee and Salem Willows with family and friends. She loved movies, painting, photography, cheering on the Patriots and attending her class reunions. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who will be deeply missed by her family and many friends.
Surviving Marjorie are her daughters, Diane Pantig and her husband, Dennis of East Providence, R.I., and Susan Feilteau and her husband, Mark of Foxborough; her son, Robert McMahon of Georgetown; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; her only sibling, Susan Valdes of Ipswich; and several nieces and nephews. She was also the mother of the late Michael McMahon.
ARRANGEMENTS: Her funeral service will be held in the Peterson-O'Donnell Funeral Home, 167 Maple St. (Rte 62), Danvers, on Saturday, January 20th at 12 Noon. Relatives and friends invited.
