Danvers, MA - Lillian S. (Brown) Oskar, passed away at Port Health Care, Newburyport, after a long illness on July 8, 2019. She was the wife of the late William C. Oskar.
She was born in Melrose to Herbert and Dora Mae (Betts) Brown. Lillian grew up in Melrose and later moved to Danvers where she resided for many years. She worked as a waitress at Spaulding's (later Chuck's) restaurant in downtown Danvers for many years. Lillian loved her job and made many friends around town because of it. She was an avid gardener and enjoyed working in her backyard and front yard. She was also a wonderful neighbor and will be dearly missed.
She leaves her children, Bruce Feindel and Christine Feindel Blanchard, her stepchildren, Karen Oskar McCauley and Kevin Oskar. She leaves her siblings, Adele Surette, Louise Bradley and Esther Klumpf. Also leaving many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives. She was the sister of the late Herbert, Eileen, Melvin, Dorothy, Margie and Geraldine.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to visitation on Monday from 10 a.m. to noon at the Mackey Funeral Home, 128 S. Main St., Rt. 114, Middleton. In lieu of flowers, kindly make a memorial donation in Lillian's name to a veterans charity of your choice. To leave a condolence kindly visit
