BEVERLY - Leo Carroll, 83, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 7, 2018, at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers with his family at his side. He was the beloved husband of Carol A. (Companeschi) Carroll.
Born in Beverly on December 29, 1934, he was the son of the late Michael and Lillian (Mathews) Carroll. The love of Leo's life was his wife, Carol, with whom he shared 55 years of marriage.
Leo worked for the City of Beverly for 33 years before retiring as a Forman in 1992.
In addition to his loving wife, Carol, he is survived by his son, Michael Carroll and his wife, Tina of Beverly, and grandchildren, Elizabeth and Logan Carroll; his daughter, Laura Henderson and her husband, Richard of Newburyport, and grandchildren, Matthew Henderson, Katie Weigant and her husband, Jeremy, and his great-grandson, Charlie; and his sister-in-law, Barbara Carroll of Beverly.
Arrangements: His funeral service will be held on Thursday in the Campbell Funeral Home, 525 Cabot St., Beverly, at 12 noon. Visiting hours will be held prior to the service from 10 a.m. to 12 noon. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend. Interment will be held in the North Beverly Cemetery.
