I'm sorry to hear of Larry's passing. He was a great and generous man who took time to give me a few Trombone lessons when I needed help. I remember playing in bands with him and his sense of humor. He told me about playing "It had to be you" when he was in the Boston University pep band. He will be greatly missed.

Such a wonderful man that I will always remember fondly from my time in musical activities at Beverly High School, 1970 - 1972. Rest in peace, Mr. Drouin.

I am saddened to read of the death of Larry. He was a very talented Guy who loved his career of bringing music to others. I first met him in 1973 where he made such an impression on me that I have remembered him for all these years. I can only imagine how many of his students share the same memory of him. He was a cool guy and I want his family to know that I care!
