Laura S. MacArthur, 82, beloved wife of the late Gregory W. MacArthur, passed away peacefully, November 23. Born in Winchester, she was the daughter of the late Lester R. and Violet W. Snow. Mrs. MacArthur was raised in Winchester and was a graduate of Green Mountain College. With her husband, Greg, they lived in Topsfield for 45 years where they had three children. Laura was a very active volunteer in the community, including The Arts Council and PTA. She also spoke in support of the Equal Rights Amendment in the 1970s. She enjoyed nature, gardening, and long walks in one of her favorite places, the Audubon Sanctuary. There’s nothing she loved more than spending time with her grandchildren and family.

Laura was predeceased by her siblings, Sally Snow Higgins and David Snow.
