Keith G.'s Story
Keith G. Smolla, 49, husband of Ting-Feng (Maggie), father of daughter Isabella, passed away Saturday, August 12, 2017, in Beverly Hospital after a lengthy illness.
He was born on June 18, 1968, in Ipswich, and was raised in Ipswich. He was the son of Maureen (Sullivan) Smolla and the late Walter Smolla.
Keith is also survived by his sister and four brothers, Kelley Burnham and her husband, James and their two sons, Jamie and Travis of Hampstead, N.H., Christopher Smolla and his wife, Ann and their two sons, Zachary and Jakob of Amesbury, Kevin Smolla and his companion, Elaine Collins of Ipswich, Casey Smolla and his daughter, Lauren and son, Brandon of Ipswich.
Keith was a graduate of Ipswich High School, Class of 1986. He spent the past 20 years in Switzerland working for the Nestle Company. He and his wife owned and ran the Jazz Café in Montreux, Switzerland.
A graveside service will be held Friday, August 18, at 10 a.m. in the New Highland Cemetery, 29 Town Farm Road, Ipswich, relatives and friends are respectfully invited. Visiting hours will be Thursday, August 17, from 4 to 7 p.m. in the Morris Funeral Home, 45 North Main St., Ipswich.
