Kathleen Andrews Ipswich - Kathleen (Drislane) Andrews, 68, of Ipswich, passed away on Friday, November 23, 2018, at the Sawtelle Family Hospice House in Reading after a brief illness and was surrounded by her loving family.
Kathleen was born August 23, 1950, in Beverly, to John D. Drislane and Ruth A. Drislane (Cashman). She graduated from Beverly High School in 1968 and later worked at both General Electric in Lynn and Commercial Union insurance company in Peabody. Kathleen met her husband Dana P. Andrews in 1973 and later moved to Ipswich where they would raise their two children.
Some of the family’s fondest memories are of spending summers in Wolfeboro, N.H., where they enjoyed camping and boating on Lake Winnipesaukee with one another and also with extended family. Kathleen always enjoyed watching Patriots games all season long, dining out with her loving husband, and taking day trips around New England.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her two children, Lisa Andrews of Beverly, and Steven Andrews of Rowley; her two granddaughters, Julie Ann Jaksa and Caitlyn Jo Jaksa; her sister Maureen Foley of Beverly; and nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Ann M. Heffernan.
