Julya's Story

DANVERS - Mrs. Julya (Goloshinsky) Rand, 46, of Danvers, beloved wife of Adam Rand, with whom she shared nine years together, died unexpectedly, Sunday, February 18, 2018, at her home, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in the Ukraine, she was the daughter of Leonid and Maya (Nebelytskaya) Goloshinsky. She was raised in Newton, and was a graduate of Brookline High School. Julya continued her education attending Northeastern University.
Julya's family always came first; she was a dedicated wife and mother who provided a loving home for her family. She was most happy when she was with her husband and children, at home, or involved in their many activities. Julya had an artist's spirit, and expressed herself through her photography, cooking, and gardening, which she enjoyed sharing with her family.
Surviving Julya, in addition to her husband, Adam Rand, of Danvers; and her parents, Leonid and Maya Goloshinsky, of Chestnut Hill; is her daughter, Cassidy S. Sullivan, of St. Augustine, Fla.; and her son, Jonathan A. Rand, of Danvers; her mother and father-in-law, Karen, and Christopher Rand, of Newton, N.H.
ARRANGEMENTS: Her funeral service will be held in the Peterson-O'Donnell Funeral Home, 167 Maple St. (Route 62), Danvers, on Thursday, February 22, at 1 p.m. Relatives and friends invited. Burial in Walnut Grove Cemetery, Danvers.
