PEABODY - Judith A. "Judi" Robinson, R.N., 53, died peacefully on Tuesday March 6, 2018, while in the comforting presence of her loving family and friends, following a brief illness.
Judi was born in Salem, daughter of Barbara A. (Pszenny) Robinson and the late Henry P. "Roby" Robinson. She grew up in Peabody, and graduated from Bishop Fenwick High School, Class of 1982. She then studied business, graduating from St. Anselm's College in Manchester, NH with a bachelors degree in 1986. She returned to college in 2004 receiving a nursing degree from Regis College and was currently enrolled as a candidate for Master's degree in nursing.
Judi started her professional career in Marketing. Due to her caring and compassionate nature; as she attended to the care of father during his long illness, she was inspired to change careers. She was a Registered Nurse, working at numerous top hospitals in the Boston area.
Judi created a special aura of fun and adventure in all she did in life. Her short life was filled with a giant heart. She would turn travel into an adventure of skiing in Italy or France, or recruiting new friends while dining or socializing. She will be dearly missed by all whom she met.
She is survived by her mother, Barbara A. (Pszenny) Robinson of Peabody; a sister and brother-in-law, Susan Robinson Perrault and Jim Perrault of Florence, MA; two nephews, Brett and Tyler Babilonia of Florence; hundreds of dear friends, and especially a close circle who provided support to her during her illness, a best friend Lisa D'Allesandro deMont of Arlington, Alison Pierce Connelly of Lynnfield, Janet Kelley Gjesteby of Winchester, Maria Kalloo of Lynn, Anne Marie Richards of Peabody, Bethany Vaughn of Peabody, cousins, Linda Hepler of MD, Lori Pyburn of Danvers, and Diana Kidd of Amesbury; also dear family friends, Kathy Connolly and Ada Dowd of Peabody and dear friend Jesse Miller of Newport, RIand lastly her beloved Bichon dogs, George and Gretta.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to honor her life wearing her favorite color orange to gather for a Funeral Mass at The Shrine of Divine Mercy, 28 St. Peter St., Salem at 10 a.m. on Saturday March 10, 2018. In lieu of flowers, donations in Judi's memory may be made to the Saint Anselm College Scholarship Fund, 100 Saint Anselm Drive, Manchester, NH 03102, or online at alumni.anselm.edu/giving.
