Joyce A.'s Story
Joyce A. (Stammers-Lefavour) Romsavich, 76, beloved wife of Stephen T. Romsavich, died Monday, April 17, 2017 at her home surrounded by her family.
Born and raised in England, she was the daughter of the late William H. and Kathleen (Seymour) Stammers.
Joyce had a love for life, including family, gardening and animals. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend who will be missed by all who knew her.
In addition to her husband with whom she shared thirty two years of marriage, she is survived by three daughters, Julie Lefavour and her companion, Ernie Manos of Beverly, Angela Rackliffe and her companion, John Hodgdon of Beverly and Paula-Jean Avigian of Danvers, three sons, Barry Lefavour and his wife, Laureen of Beverly, Steven Lefavour and his wife, Asako of Japan and Mark Romsavich and his wife, Kimberly of Danvers, nine grandchildren, two great grandchildren; a sister, Kathleen Shaw of Florida and many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews and her special friend, Ginny Lazarides and family. She was also the sister of the late Jack Stammers, Dennis Stammers and Ivy McPhail.
Her funeral service will be celebrated at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, 4 Ocean Street, Beverly, Friday, April 21, 2017 at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Burial in the North Beverly Cemetery. A celebrations of her life will be held following the burial at the American Legion Herman A. Spear Post 331, 3 Judson Street, Beverly, from 12 to 4 p.m. Contributions may be made in her memory to the MSPCA at Nevins Farm, 400 Broadway, Methuen, MA 01844.
