Joseph "Robert"'s Story
Joseph “Robert” Hebert, age 85 years, of Beverly, passed away Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at his home. He was the beloved husband of the late Germain (Lavoie) Hebert. Born in Salem, dear son of the late Philippe and Exilda (Girard) Hebert. He was a graduate of St Joseph High School in Salem.
An honorably discharged veteran, he served his country during the Korean War as a member of the United States Army.
Robert had been employed as a machinist for the Sylvania Company for 30 years.
Surviving him are two sons, Robert Hebert and his wife, Jeanne of Beverly and Gene Hebert and his wife, Linda of Beverly; two daughters, Sandra and Deborah and her husband John Lincicum; one brother, Phil Hebert of Beverly; one sister, Rita Breen of Somerset; five grandchildren, Rachel, Brian, Kim, Kelly and Maryellen and eleven great-grandchildren, Sophia, Ayla, Erin, Joshua, Andrew, Julia, Matthew, Declan, Jordon, Benjamin and Brooke. He was also the father of the late Brian Hebert.
Robert’s funeral service will be held at the Living Hope Church of the Nazarene Church, 556 Cabot Street, Beverly, on Monday, October 30, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Interment at North Beverly Cemetery, Beverly. A visiting hour will be held prior to the service at the church on Monday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Arrangements by the Campbell Funeral Home, 525 Cabot Street, Beverly, MA 01915.
