Beverly - Joseph C. Falloni Sr., 87, beloved husband of Margaret J. (Nelson) Falloni, died Saturday, June 22, 2019 at the Ledgewood Rehabilitation Center in Beverly.
Born and raised in Beverly, he was the son of the late Paul and Madeline (Cassola) Falloni. He graduated from the Beverly High Vocational School, class of 1951.
An honorably discharged veteran, he served his country during the Korean Conflict as a member of the United States Army.
Mr. Falloni had owned and operated Central Express Trucking Company in Beverly until the time of his retirement.
A lifelong resident of Beverly, he enjoyed working in his garden as well as fishing. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend who will be missed by all who knew him.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by five daughters, Karelle Morrissey and her husband, Michael, Paula Acciavatti and her husband, Richard, Joan Falloni and her husband, Christopher Condon, Amy Falloni and her partner, Shaun Finnegan and Cris Ingemi and her partner, Frank Campbell, one son, Joseph Falloni Jr. and his wife, Kim, seven grandchildren, Joseph Edelstein, Paul Acciavatti, Joseph Ingemi, Jack and Sam Falloni, Patrick and Benjamin Condon and close family , Alan Edelstein and Elaine Eliopoulos. He was also the grandfather of the late John Acciavatti, brother of the late Paula A. Falloni and father-in-law of the late Joseph Ingemi III.
His funeral service will be held at the Campbell Funeral Home, 525 Cabot Street, Beverly, Wednesday, June 26, 2019 at 12 noon. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held prior to the service on Wednesday from 10:30 a.m. to 12 noon. Burial in the North Beverly Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105. So very sorry to hear the news of Joe's passing. I was unable to attend his service today but want you to know that I was with you in spirit. I have only fond memories of Goat Hill and the childhood we all shared. May he rest in peace.
