Joseph B.'s Story

Joseph B Stazinski, 54, of Peabody, died Saturday morning at Salem Hospital following a brief illness. Born in Danvers, he was the son of Theresa (Dzierzak) Diorio of Peabody and the late Joseph A. Stazinski.
He was raised and educated in Peabody and was a graduate of Peabody Vocational School, class of 1981. He was employed in the construction field for many years doing mostly foundation work all over the North Shore. He also was a plow driver for the city of Peabody for a number of years as well. Joseph was a member of the Knights of Columbus in Danvers and was a handyman who enjoyed fixing things and doing landscaping in his yard.
Besides his loving mother, he is survived by his brothers, Tom Stazinski of Lynn and Paul Stazinski of Peabody; and his sister, Tammy and her husband, Tim Riordan of Atlanta.
His funeral service will be held on Thursday at 11:30 a.m. at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody to which relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m. Burial will be in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Lake Street, Peabody. For directions and online obituary, visit www.ccbfuneral.com.
