John D.'s Story
John D. Robertson, 70, died Saturday, May 27, 2017, in the Portsmouth Regional Hospital following a brief illness. He was the husband of the late Judith Lynn (Snow) Robertson, who died in 1997.
Born in Beverly on November 11, 1946, he was the son of the late John S. and Myrtle A. (Dodge) Robertson. He had resided in Lynn and Beverly for many years before retiring to Rochester, N.H. in 2013.
John was employed as a machinist at the former Celata Engineering for many years. In retirement, he enjoyed driving for Logan Express. He also enjoyed time spent with his family and loved riding his motorcycle.
He is survived by his daughter, Karen Robertson of Beverly; his son, Mark J. Robertson and his wife, Stephanie of Rochester, N.H.; five grandchildren, Devin Robertson, Mark Robertson, Jr., Kane Robertson, Nathaniel Evans, and June (Evans) Moody; his sister, Marion Palardy of Beverly; his beloved dog, “Daisy”; and many nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours will be held on Thursday in the Campbell Funeral Home, 525 Cabot St., Beverly from 5 to 7 p.m. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend.
