PEABODY - John Clay Crawford, 48, an information technology specialist and musician, passed away unexpectedly. He was a native of West Peabody, and also spent many years in North Reading. John was a graduate of Peabody Veterans Memorial High School, and the University of Massachusetts in Lowell. His education included a semester at California State University in Northridge. In addition to his degree in music, John held many information technology-related certifications. John Clay Crawford was the son of the late Dover and Maureen Crawford of West Peabody. He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Ann Crawford Kopschenkov, and Gleb Kopschenkov, of Andover; his cousins; and many friends and neighbors. John Clay Crawford was buried with his beloved parents at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, West Peabody. In accordance with his wishes, no formal services were held.
