VERO BEACH, FL - Mr. John Joseph Carnevale, Jr., 89, of Vero Beach, died January 31, 2018 at VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach.
John was born in Beverly. He has been winter resident of Vero Beach since 1980 permanently moving to Vero Beach in 2012.
John Earned a Bachelor's degree from the Bentley School of Accounting and Finance, Boston. He had a long career as a master plumber and was a member of the United Association of Plumbers and Pipe Fitters Local 138. He used his skills as a CPA to prepare taxes and other accounting business in his spare time.
John was a member of St. Helen Catholic Church, Vero Beach, FL. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus.
Survivors include his daughter, Valerie Miller (Wayne) of Vero Beach; son, David Carnevale (Sue) of Beverly; brother, Freddie Carnevale; sister, Rose Cram; grandchildren, Jacqueline Klock (David), John W. Miller (Mona), Jeffrey Miller, Calandra Carnevale and Roman Carnevale; great-grandchildren, Alexis Klock, Natalie Klock, Elizabeth Kolesnick, Rylee Woodall and Jackson Miller.
John was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Jean "Betty" Carnevale; brothers, Rocky Carnevele, Thomas Carnevale, George "Dube" Carnevale and Bobby Carnevale; sisters, Mary Ruggeri, Virginia Titoni, Susan Jenness, Elsie Spiliotos and Emma Keenan and great-grandson, Krystian Miller.
John enjoyed spending time with his family, especially the grandchildren and he will be missed by all.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Visiting Nurse Association & Hospice Foundation, 1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, FL 32960 in memory of John Joseph Carnevale, Jr.
A private graveside service will be held in Crestlawn Cemetery, Vero Beach, FL.
