Hamilton - Joan Snavely of Hamilton, beloved wife of Eugene R. Snavely, passed away on Thursday, December 13, 2018 at her home surrounded by family and friends. Born in Columbus Ohio, she was the daughter of Ruth (McIntyre) and J. Edwin Witter. She committed her life to her husband, sons and grandchildren, and many friends and caring neighbors. Her favorite pastimes were reading, power walking and watching her sons’ and grandsons’ sporting events. She was a longtime part of the community at the Beverly Senior Center.
She was predeceased by her brother, Jack Witter, husband Eugene, son Dean L. Snavely and grandson, Adam D. Snavely, M.D.
She is survived by her sons, Daniel E. and Lindsey Snavely of Wenham, Bruce A. and Paula Snavely of Wenham, Stan M. and Ruth Snavely of Beverly; grandsons Brett C. and Christina Snavely of Dunwoody GA, Evan J. Snavely of NYC, Kurt A. Snavely of Asheville, N.C., and great-grandchildren Charles N. and Molly O. Snavely of Dunwoody, Ga.
Visiting hours will be held at the Campbell Funeral Home 525 Cabot Street, Beverly, on Tuesday, December 18th from 4 to 7 p.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
