Jillian Maura's Story
Jillian Maura Slatas passed from this world at her home on Nov. 12, 2017. She was born Aug. 20, 1991, in Beverly, Mass.
Jillian was a graduate of Bentley University in 2013. Soon after graduation she decided nursing was her calling and was in the process of completing her pre-requisite studies at Cape Cod Community College for her nursing degree. She once said she had the ability to look into others souls and feel their pain and thus the calling to heal and save others. This she accomplished in many ways throughout her life. Her sweet joyful spirit and large empathetic heart is unmatched. Jillian's grace and energy lit up the room, her smile so bright warmed people's hearts. Jillian's uncanny ability to make one feel special and loved will leave an everlasting impact etched within their hearts forever. She was our living angel.
Survivors include her cherished mother, Christine E. Lahiff of Topsfield, Mass.; her adored and loving father, Alan Slatas of New York City, N.Y.; and her soul mate, sister and twin flame, Devin Slatas of Santa Monica, Calif. She is also survived by her loving grandmother, Edna Lahiff of Arlington, Mass., and grandparents, Arlene and Bernie Slatas of Boca Raton, Fla. She was predeceased by her dear “Papa,” John M. Lahiff of Arlington. She is lovingly remembered and missed by her dear aunts, uncles, and sweet cousins.
