s a young girl growing up in Youghal and living next door to the Twomey family I knew your Father as a glamorous person who visited every so often. He had an aura about him which to me, as a young girl, was both mysterious and fascinating!
He reminded me of Perry Como and in my adolescent mind I had a big crush on this man in the pale blue sweater which was so Comoish!
I was very close to Lizzie, who was my Godmother and adored Nannie Twomey. The family always made me feel loved and welcome in their home and as a lonely teenager, I spent quite a lot of time with them, eventually moving in for a couple of years before I left Ireland.
I offer my most sincere sympathy on your loss and wish yo
