Jeannette M. Cummings, 73, passed away at home Wednesday, September 20, 2017.
She was born in Lynn, a daughter of the Allen K. and Victoria M. (Dancewicz) Cummings. Jeannette was a teacher at Beverly High School, Beverly for 33 years, retiring in 1998. She lived in Peabody before moving to Greenville, R.I., in 1998. She was an volunteer for the Food Pantry of St. Philip Church, Greenville and was a former board member at The Lakes Condominium Association where she lived. She is survived by her companion, Meg M. Inderlin of Greenville. She was the sister of Allen K. Cummings (Rhonda) of Peabody and Arlene Mason (Al) of Swampscott. She is also survived by her nephews, Kevin Cummings, David Cummings and her godson, Michael Cummings and his wife, Brittany. She was the great aunt of Christian, Casey, Kyle and Ciara Cummings. She is also survived by numerous friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial, Saturday, September 30, 2017, at 11 a.m. in St. Philip Church, 622 Putnam Pike, Greenville, RI 02828. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Beacon Hospice, 1 Catamore Blvd., East Providence, RI 02914 or St. Vincent De Paul (SVDP) Food Pantry at St. Philip’s Church, 622 Putnam Pike, Greenville, RI 02828.
