BEVERLY - Jean M. Lambert (née Whipple), aged 95, of Beverly died peacefully on February 10, 2018, at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers. Wife of the late Philippe E. Lambert Daughter of Frederick F. Whipple and Grace M. Whipple (née Decatur), she resided in her Ryal Side childhood home, before moving to the John Bertram House in Salem.
Graduating from Salem State, she had a very brief teaching career, before her 1945 marriage to Phil. Both were avid readers and became very skilled at their home projects. Jean was an avid gardener who also enjoyed needlework, sewing, painting, upholstering, woodworking, doll making and all things crafty. She was a violinist during her college days, playing in a string quartet around the North Shore.
Talented homemaker, loving wife and mother, she resided in Lynn during her married life.
She is survived by their only child, Deb Lambert.
