FORMERLY OF WENHAM - Jayne Coolidge Robbins, 90, formerly of Wenham, passed away peacefully with her family by her side.
Jayne was the wife of the late Joseph F. Robbins with whom she shared 28 years of marriage. Together they enjoyed entertaining in their home, travel and outdoor adventures, to the fullest. Jayne spent her childhood in Winchester and Manchester. She graduated from The Knox School in Cooperstown, N.Y., in 1945. While raising her children, she spent many years in New Hampshire before settling in Wenham. Jayne was employed in sales at The Sports Stop in Wenham. Many knew her from the over 30 years she worked there. Jayne will be remembered warmly for her indomitable spirit and positive outlook and her love for her family. She will also be remembered for her gourmet cooking abilities that she shared enthusiastically with family and friends and her fondness for big band music, dancing, singing, theatre, sailing and the many pets that lived with her throughout her life.
Jayne is survived by her son, William H. Coolidge and his wife, Beverly; two granddaughters, Stefani Coolidge and Melissa Coolidge; another son, Timothy C. Coolidge Sr. and his wife, Pamela; a grandson, Timothy C. Coolidge Jr.; a brother, Frederick Edington; and many nephews and nieces and her husband's three children. Jayne was predeceased by her daughter, Jennifer Coolidge Calder; her sister, Rosemary Edington Porter; and her brother, Stuart Scott Edington.
