James T.'s Story
Mr. James T. Kapoll, Jr., age 55, of Beverly, formerly of Swampscott, died Sunday surrounded by his family.
He was the son of Angela (Femino) Kapoll of Danvers and the late James T. Kapoll, Sr. He was a graduate of Swampscott High School, Class of 1981. James was recently employed with Shaw’s in Lynn. A member of the Knights of Columbus, Valladolid Council #70, Lynn, he was honored with the 2016 Knight of the Year Award. He enjoyed bingo and volunteered at several area bingo halls several nights a week for over 30 years. James enjoyed time at his camp in Sandown, N.H. and time in North Fort Myers, Fla.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by two brothers; Richard Kapoll and his wife Bobbie-Jo of Lynn and David Kapoll and his wife, Ann of Marblehead; one sister; Kathryn Hurley and her husband Daniel of Danvers; as well as his nieces and nephews, Michelle Kohr and her husband Stephen, Steven Hurley, Christopher Kapoll, Carolyn Kapoll, Kristine Stark and her husband, Stephen, Allison Kapoll, Elaine Kapoll and Laura Kerr; as well as several great-nephews.
His funeral will be held on Wednesday at 9 a.m. from the Solimine Funeral Home, 67 Ocean St. (Route 1A), Lynn, followed by a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. in St. John the Evangelist Church, Swampscott. Burial will be in Swampscott Cemetery. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited.
