Gloria M. (Blodgett) (Rennick)'s Story
Mrs. Gloria M. (Blodgett) (Rennick) Kelley, 84, of Danvers, formerly of Beverly, beloved wife of the late Donald J. Kelley, died Friday, June 30, 2017 at Brentwood Rehabilitation in Danvers surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Peabody she was the daughter of the late Francis and Marcia M. (Springer) Blodgett. She was raised and educated in Salem and was a graduate of Salem High School.
A loving and devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, a role she took very seriously, family was paramount and Gloria was passionate about creating a warm and loving home for her family. She was active in her children’s and grandchildren’s many activities and loved hosting and planning many get-togethers, as being surrounded by her family was what she enjoyed most. All who entered Gloria’s home was made to feel special and she will be greatly missed by all those lives she has touched over the years.
A longtime resident of the City of Beverly and most recently resided with her daughter in Danvers. Gloria relished time spent at the lake in New Hampshire with her family and enjoyed many boat rides. She was an avid reader, liked to do puzzles and made many dolls over the years.
Surviving Gloria are her six sons, Edward Rennick and his wife Patricia of Peabody, Robert Rennick and his wife, Janet of Amesbury, Thomas Rennick of Beverly, Kevin Rennick and his wife, Wendy of Amesbury, Timothy Rennick and his wife Michelle of Middleton and James Rennick and his wife Mary of Beverly, her two daughters, Pamela Doane and her husband Michael of Danvers and Patricia Rennick-Marrs of Danvers, her sister, Marcia McKinnon and her husband James of Exeter, N.H.; 23 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Francis Blodgett and Ernie Blodgett.
At the request of the family all services are private. Assisting the family with the arrangements is the Peterson-O’Donnell Funeral Home, 167 Maple St. (Route 62) Danvers.
