Ginka “Genevieve”'s Story
Ginka “Genevieve” Szpak, 95, of Salem, died Friday evening, April 28, 2017 at home cared for and loved by many nieces and nephews.
Born in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Francisek and Rosalie (Rszesos) Szpak, was a graduate of Salem High School, and a lifelong resident of the city.
Prior to her retirement, she was employed for many years at the General Electric Company in Lynn.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews and was predeceased by brothers, Stanley Sypak, Thadous Spak, Rudolph Szpak, Matislaw Szpak and sisters, Amelia Thomas, Wanda Howarth and Estelle Kelleher.
Per Genevieve's wishes, there will be no services. Family and friends will gather at a later date to honor her memory.
