Florence H. Jacobs Florence H. Jacobs - of Peabody, entered into rest on Thursday, February 7, 2019 at the age of 93. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert S. Jacobs and daughter of the late David and Sarah Levine. She is survived by two sons, Stephen Jacobs and Paul Jacobs and his wife, Janine. She was also the beloved grandmother of Russell Jacobs and his wife Courtney Westlie, Margot Jacobs and her husband Jeffrey Lentz, David Jacobs, James Gunther and Sasha Gunther.

Born in Boston, Florence grew up in Swampscott, MA. She graduated from Lynn High School and raised her family in Peabody, MA, where she also worked as a legal secretary and piano teacher. She was a dedicated member of Temple Beth Shalom of Peabody, and volunteered for many years as the Temple Music Director. She cherished her time spent with family and friends.

A funeral service for Florence will be held on Sunday, February 10, 2019 at 12:30pm at Temple Beth Shalom Cemetery in Danvers, MA.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in her memory to the Brooksby Village Benevolent Care Fund, 300 Brooksby Village Dr., Peabody, MA 01960.The staff at Stanetsky-Hymanson Memorial Chapel, 10 Vinnin Street, Salem, MA 01970 had the honor of caring for Florence. I am so sorry for your loss. I never told Florence that both Elden and Arnold died two years ago six months apart. She was a loyal cousin to both of them. She was very proud of her family. Love, Shirley Levine

Paul : I am so sorry for the loss of your Mom. She was a kind and talented woman who was devoted to all of her family. I know how much she meant to Rhonda also. I often think about you and the entire family. I am still in FL so cannot get there. I will be there in thought. Rae
