Florence A.'s Story

Florence “Flo” A. (Zuccaro) Theriault, 89, of Peabody passed away at the Kaplan Hospice House, Danvers, Tuesday morning, Oct. 31, 2017. She was the wife of the late Lawrence S. "Larry" Theriault, Sr.

Born in Salem, Mass., Florence was the daughter of the late Haly and Annie (Oliver) Zuccaro. Florence and her husband owned and operated the former Larry's Sub Shop on Congress Street, Salem for many years. She was an avid bingo player at St. James Church in Salem and the Knights of Columbus' bingo in Peabody for the Alhambra Charities. Florence was, above all, a loving caregiver for her husband and her family.

Florence is survived by her two sons, Lawrence S. Theriault, Jr. and his wife, Kathleen of Peabody and Bill Theriault and his companion, Cynthia Hutchins of Beverly; three grandchildren, Lawrence III, Judith, and Lenyx Theriault, as well as her godson, Robert Zuccaro and his wife, Elaine; and numerous nieces, nephews, and grandnieces and grandnephews. She was predeceased by her brothers, Anthony Zuccaro and Guy Zuccaro; and her sister, Joanna Zuccaro.
