DANVERS- Mrs. E. Kathryn (Nist) Mason, 91, of Danvers, beloved wife of the late Charles W. Mason, died Saturday, December 30, 2017 at Rosewood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, surrounded by her loving family.
Born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Louis and Esther (McAdams) Nist. She was educated in the Pittsburg School System.
A loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother; was a role she was passionate about. Kathryn was happiest when providing a loving and caring environment for her family. She had an affinity for all animals but was especially devoted to all the family pets. Her love and generosity will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
Surviving Kathryn are her daughter, Debra Marshall and her husband, James of Naples Fla.; her two sons, David Mason and his wife, Linda of Danvers and H. James Mason and his wife, Paula of Rowley, six grandchildren, Kathryn Wagner and her husband Christopher, James Marshall, Christian, Corrine and Brett Mason and Brian Mason and his wife, Danielle, her great-grandchildren, Jaclyn, Mason and Logan Mysliwy and Parker and Brooks Mason; her sister Virginia Matvey of Pittsburgh and several nieces and nephews.
ARRANGEMENTS: Her funeral service will be held in the Peterson-O'Donnell Funeral Home, 167 Maple St. (Route 62), Danvers on Wednesday, January 3rd at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends invited. Burial in Walnut Grove Cemetery.
