Dorothy R. Balletto Danvers - Dorothy R. (Campbell) Balletto, 94, died Tuesday morning, Nov. 6, 2018, surrounded by her loving family at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers. She was the wife of the late Joseph A. Balletto.
Born in Everett on Oct. 2, 1924, she was the daughter of Walter and Mary (Leary) Campbell. She was raised and educated in Everett and was a graduate of Everett High School. She resided in Topsfield for nearly 30 years and had been a Danvers resident since 1984.
She was employed for several years at Raytheon and then, for 24 years, as a cook and cashier at the cafeteria at Masconomet Regional High School.
An avid bowler, she also enjoyed playing cards and golf. As a young woman, she had competed as a dancing roller-skater.
She leaves three children, Joseph Balletto and his wife Debra of Gansevoort, N.Y., Steven Balletto and his wife Camille of Lynn, and Patricia Anderson of Danvers; five grandchildren, Tammy Mendalka, John Mendalka, Nicole Anderson, Dan Balletto, and his wife Andrea, and Marisa Balletto; two great-granddaughters, Emmaleigh and Noelle; a brother, Robert Campbell and his wife Carol; and several nieces and nephews.

Her funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, Nov. 10, 2018, at 10:30 a.m. in Saint Rose of Lima Church, Park St., Topsfield. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Topsfield. Relatives and friends are invited. As requested, there are no visiting hours. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Kayla’s Cause, 26 Fellows St., Danvers, MA 01923. Arrangements are by C.R.
