Beverly - Diane L. (Basile) Harvey, 64, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, December 15, 2018. She was the wife of the late Wilmont M. “Buddy” Harvey Jr. who died in 1995.
Born in Salem on March 19, 1954, she was the daughter of the late Domenico and Gertrude (Larrabee) Basile.
Diane was employed at (CPI) Communications & Power Industries in Beverly for 31 years. She received her degree in early childhood development. She returned for a degree in Waste Management to enhance her career. Her primary focus was to be a dedicated mother, grandmother, sister, friend, and employee. Diane was a beacon of light for all who came in contact with her. She loved her summers, Salem Willows, and the House of Seven Gables. She is dearly loved and will be missed by all. As all of us will miss her angels sent in time of need.
She is survived by two sons, Justin Ober, and Jordan Harvey; three granddaughters, Juleah, Madelyn and Morgan Ober; two sisters, Donna Sachs and her companion, Bill Smith and June Pasquier and her husband, Harry; her niece, Jocelyn Dellea and her husband, Peter and a nephew, Noah Sachs; one step-son, Wilmont M. Harvey III; three step-daughters, Jessica Guard, Christine Harvey and her wife, Tina and Rhonda Lee Martino, and among her many cousins are Dotty, Patty, and Marie.

Her funeral service will be held on Saturday in the Campbell Funeral Home, 525 Cabot St., Beverly, at 10 a.m. Visiting hours will be held on Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend. Interment will be held in Central Cemetery, Beverly. In the spirit of giving, please consider any random act of kindness in Diane’s memory.
