Salem - Denise Marie Pinca, 69, passed away unexpectedly at her home in Salem, MA on Monday, July 15, 2019.
Denise was born in Washington, D.C. on July 9, 1950 to the late Dennis R. Morgan and Jean M. Morgan. She grew up in the Hershey area of Pennsylvania. After her firstborn came along, Denise moved to Manahawkin, NJ and created a beautiful life for her family by the ocean. Eight years ago, she moved to Salem, Mass. and helped create another beautiful life by the ocean for her two grandsons who had a very special bond with their Nana.
Her life's work was her family and, as one of Jehovah's Witnesses, sharing good news and comfort from God's Word, the Bible, with her neighbors. Denise loved helping her children and neighbors come to know God and his promises of a better life to come in the future on a paradise earth (Rev. 21:3,4). Her essence and favorite thing to do was to love people and care for them. Her warmth, hospitality and genuine concern for others attracted friend and stranger alike.
Although we are truly devastated by this unexpected loss, we know Denise is safely tucked away in Jehovah's memory and that we will see her again soon when God, in His own due time, resurrects her to a paradise earth.
Denise is survived by her son, Jared Pinca and his wife, Sarah, and her daughters, Jennifer Burns and her husband, Scott, along with their children, Finley and Fox, Amy Fortuna and her husband, Frank, and Laura Schlothan and her husband, Jeffrey. She is also survived by her siblings, Timothy Morgan, Tamara Rice, Julia Morgan and Thomas Morgan along with her nieces and nephews and her dear brothers and sisters in her large family of faith.

A memorial talk will be given at the Peabody Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses at 79 Endicott Street, Peabody, on Saturday, August 3 at 2 p.m. Arrangements are by the Campbell Funeral Home, 525 Cabot Street, Beverly. Information, directions, condolences at www.campbellfuneral.com.

Denise always came up to us, at practically every meeting, and said with her beautiful and sincere smile, "Hi, how are you?" She always took an interest in others and really wanted to know what was going on in their life. We look forward to picking up where we left off when we all welcome her back. What a day that will be.

A fond memories of I will have is that Doug and I went over to Denise's house and brought McDonald's sundaes. We all say on her deck laughing, talking and eating. We did those three things a lot! I'm a better person for having her as my friend. I miss her, both Doug and I do.

I remember my dear friend Denise from the Manahawkin, NJ congregation. Even though I haven't seen her for several years her laugh and her smile is so clear and bright. My children Billy and Annie played with Jared, Jenny, Amy and Laura. Denise had a get together for me as a surprise for me when I was very ill. It lifted my spirits so. That was Denise, kind thoughtful, and generous. I remember our times out in service the most. She has a big station wagon and we packed everyone in. My kids loved how the seats turned backwards. I wish I was able to.spend more time with her these last few years. I was in Seattle and she in Salem. She has given me such precious memories that I can't wait to remi...nisce with her in paradise and give her a huge hug and tell her how i missed her so. I am in PA now and will try to get to her memorial. May Jehovah comfort her loving family. Jehovah will have a longing for that sweet laugh and beautiful dimples we all remember so well❤️Read more

Denise is a person that makes you smile just thinking about her. There’s no doubt she brought love and joy into the lives of those of us that were blessed to know her. I want to come to the welcome back party too. I’m sorry for the pain her family is experiencing, I hope it helps a little to know you are in our prayers.

We would truly miss Denise she was our angel on earth. She was kind, loving and always ready to help when I needed it. I came from Tobago back in 2014 and she was the one that was sent to continue my bible studies here. We had an awesome connection, she was around when I had my twin and was the witness when I got married. I would forever cherish all our laughs and all your words of encouragement and love. From the Beckles family to yours our condolences. We would miss u Denise. Your laugh, your sweet dimples and your sassy talk. Love 💕 hugs 🤗 and kisses 😘to the family.
