Denise Ann's Story
Denise A. Farmer of Danvers died peacefully after courageously living for many years with serious medical conditions. Denise was the daughter of Francis X. and Helen M. (Gannon) Farmer of Danvers.
She leaves behind her family, her brother, Michael J. of Danvers, Mark F. and Beth Owens of Ijamsville, Md., John P. and his wife, Susan of Danvers, Brian J. and his wife, Anne of Danvers; and her sister, Maryellen Feeley and husband, Edmund of Greenwich, Conn.
The beloveds of Denise’s life, her nieces and nephews are Jay Farmer (New Orleans, La.), Joan Farmer (Danvers), Meghan Farmer (New York, N.Y.), Caroline Feeley (London, England), Nathan Farmer (Arlington, Va.), Ellen Feeley (New York, N.Y.), Justin Farmer (Allston), Sarah Farmer (Ijamsville, Md.), Katherine Feeley (Greenwich, Conn.), Neal Farmer (Danvers) and Patrick Feeley (Greenwich, Conn.).
She also leaves many cousins and dear friends. Her family is especially grateful to her caregiver and wonderful friend Donna Wells of Peabody.
Denise will be remembered for her kindness, wisdom, wit and moxie. She proved to be a strong advocate and voice for the disabled and sick.
Visiting hours are Friday, September 1, 2017, from 4 to 7 p.m. at C.R. Lyons & Sons Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers. Her funeral Mass will be Saturday, September 2, 2017, at 11 a.m. at St. Mary of the Annunciation Church, 24 Conant St., Danvers. Relatives and friends are invited. Burial will be private.
