I was shocked and terribly saddened to hear of Debbie's passing. My heart goes out to you all, I know this leaves a huge void in your lives. I had not been in touch with Debbie or the family for many years now and this leaves me with many regrets. But I have many wonderful memories of our days at Loudoun Country Day School and my friendship with Debbie. Our ladies dinners with Julie, Louise, Debbie and myself, our times with our children. Love to you all and know that she will always be with you.

Debby was my real estate agent but became much more than that. I considered her a dear friend, with great compassion and kindness who helped me during a difficult chapter in my life. I last saw her at Corliss where she seemed blissfully happy surrounded by the plants and flowers. I am so saddened to hear she was ill. My deepest Condolences to Raymond and the girls.

Raymond, I am so sorry to hear this news. I remember Deb as witty and fun and no nonsense. She came to our house for one of her first garden consults. I hope you will find some solace with your family and with the beautiful, living landscape that Deb helped to create at GUS.

Meeting Deb for the first time was in the dressing room of the Dress Barn. I was picking clothes out for my new job at GUS and she overheard my conversation with the sales person and she stepped out of the dressing room and said "that's my husband you'll be working for, and what you have on looks good" - from that day forward Deb always had kind words of support. Death leaves a heartache no one can heal; Love leaves a memory no one can steal. Our deepest sympathies go out to you Raymond and your family.
