Deborah A.'s Story
Mrs. Deborah A. Vavoudes-Labelle, age 59, formerly of Saugus, died unexpectedly at her home in Beverly. She was the loving wife of Steven Labelle.
Born and raised in Saugus, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Mayotte (Guest) Vavoudes. She worked in the mortgage business for over 25 years as a realtor and mortgage processor. Deborah had a great sense of humor and her laugh was contagious. She was a very caring, involved wife, sister and friend. She was an animal lover of dogs, she bred birds, owned horses that she showed all over New England and she was a decorated equestrian rider. She was also an avid sports fan who enjoyed football and soccer in particular; she was absolutely passionate about the Patriots.
In addition to her husband, Deborah leaves two beloved brothers, Steven Vavoudes of Lynn and Mitchell Boyer of Saugus. She is also survived by Auntie Ruth Christie and Brian Christie, both of Saugus.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours in the Bisbee-Porcella Funeral Home, 549 Lincoln Ave., Saugus, on Monday, 4 to 8 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday at 11 a.m.
